Atalanta BC vs AC Milan preview
Prepare yourself for a heavy week of Italian football with AC Milan seeking redemption as they head to Gewiss Stadium to take on 7th place Atalanta tomorrow at 3:45 PM EST. Milan were on the cusp on attaining 1st place by a 2-point margin but fell to 3rd place with their recent 2-2 draw to Pisa. Atalanta on the other hand, have dawn 4 straight matches to find themselves at 7th place in Serie A, although they could narrow the gap to their Milan opponents to 2 points with a home victory tonight.
Unfortunately, AC's top scoring (4 goals) and top assisting (2 assists) midfielder, Christian Pulisic, he will be sitting out tomorrow as he nurses an ongoing hamstring injury from international break. Rafael Leao will have to take up the goalscoring mantle with 3 to his name already, although it won't be easy against a win-hungry Atalanta side. Atalanta's Kaldeen Sulemana and Nikola Krstovic (3 assists) each have 2 goals a piece, and will want to get the ball rolling for La Dea after going winless since the end of September.
AS Roma vs Parma Calcio 1913 preview
Roma seem to already have improved upon their 5th place finish from the 2024-2025 season, yet a lot of work is still to be had. Currently i Giallorossi assert themselves at 2nd with 18 points only on goal differential to 1st place Napoli. The Yellow and Reds have gone 4-1 in their last 5 matches, with all of their wins coming from 1 goal-margin wins and their only recent loss coming from a 1-0 defeat to Inter on October 18.
Serie A's 15th place Parma will surely run into issues scoring goals with only 3 to their name this season. Roma have only allowed 3 after 8 games, and the match takes place at Stadio Olimpico in Rome this Wednesday afternoon, meaning Parma will need to overcome major adversity to take even a 1 goal lead. Parama has only won 1 of their last 5 Serie A matches, drawing their last two, with their most recent match ending scoreless 0-0 to Como 1907.
U.S. Lecce vs SSC Napoli preview
Napoli concluded week 8 of Serie A at the top of the table with 18 points, although they have only won 3 of their last 5 season games, meaning everything is up in the air this week. Tomorrow, Gli Azzurri take to Stadio Vial del Mare to likely capitalize on a vulnerable 16th place Lecce. Napoli have scored the most goals out of any Italian club this season so far with 15, with Kevin De Bruyne leading the way with 4, followed by Frank Anguissa with 3.
Lecce will surely run into trouble at home, as they showcase the 2nd worst goal differential in the league (-6) and have only won 1 of their last 5 matches, that being a 1-0 win over Parma on October 4. Lecce have been extremely vulnerable at the back throughout the season, letting in the 2nd most goals in Serie A (13) behind only Torino, and they will surely struggle against the league leaders of Napoli tomorrow at 1:30 PM EST.
