The Royal Whites defend their 1st place La Liga spot today at the Santiago Bernabeau against their longtime Catalonian rivals of FC Barcelona. Barca have have beaten Real Madrid in the last 4 meetings, with their last bout ending 4-3 in favor of the Catalans. The two sides have not drawn a game since December of 2019.

While Barcelona have been dominating El Clasico's since October 2024, Real Madrid appear to be in better form as the 1st place Royal Whites overtook Barcelona October 5 after the Catalans slipped 4-1 to Sevilla.

Real Madrid's last lost occurred on September 27 in a 5-2 result to Atletico Madrid, although since then, the Royal Whites have been rolling with 4 straight wins in all competitions including their most recent 1-0 win over Juventus in the Champions League.

Barcelona have gone on to their most recent La Liga game 2-1 against Girona before firing 6 goals past Olympiacos in the Champions League for a 6-1 result.

There will be no shortage of goals on deck tonight, and both Xabi Alonso and Hansi Flick will put their most fit squads forward. Here are your expected line ups for today's game at 11:15 AM EST.
