Luis Diaz led the way with 2 brilliant goals in the 4' and 32' before being sent off for a gruesome challenge on PSG's Achraf Hakimi. They'd ultimately see out the game only allowing a single goal form PSG's Joao Neves in the 74'.
Arsenal vs Slavia Praha
Bukayo Saka opened up the scoring for the Gunners with a 32' penalty before Mikel Merino added to the lead with 2 of his own in the 46' and 68' giving Arsenal a comfortable shutout win over Salvia Praha at 3-0 . The Italian side tested Kairat's GK Anarbekov relentlessly with 10 shots on target out of 20 total. Inter's Lautaro Martinez opened up the scoring in the 45' before Kairat's Ofri Arad equalized in the 55'. Kairat put up a fight with 4 shots on target, although were ultimatelyout possessed 64%-36%. Inter's Carlos Augusto fired home a 67' game winner, continuing the Italian side's undefeated run in the Champions League with a 2-1 win
Liverpool vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid took their chances, but the Reds prevailed in a close 1-0 result at Anfield after being out possess 57%, although they tested Real GK Courtois (arguably the man-of-the-match) with 15 shots and 10 on target. Alexis Mac Allister found the game winner from a redirecting a header past the Belgium goalkeeper in the 61' to take the win at home.
Manchester City vs Borussia Dortmund
City ended the afternoon happily with a 4-1 over Dortmund to continue their undefeated streak in the UCL as well, although they do have 1 draw to AS Monaco in the past week's that forces them to sit in 4th place with 10 points. City's Phil Foden recorded a brace in the 57' which sandwiched Erling Haaland's 29' goal. Dortmund began to crawl back with a 72' goal from Waldemar Anton although City's Rayan Cherki put the game to bed with a 90'+1 final goal.
Club Brugge vs FC Barcelona
Club Brugge's Nicolo Tresoldi opened up the scoring early in the 6' but just 2 minutes later, Barca's Ferran Torres would equalize. In the 17' another break away ensued allowing Brugge's Carlos Forbs a goal to take the lead once again. Barcelona chased the score line most of the game, but Lamine Yamal tied it up just 16 minutes into the 2nd half, only for Carlos Forbs to once again steal the lead in the 63'. It was looking gloomy for the Catalans with 23 shots and 7 on target without goals to show for, but a deflected pass from Lamine Yamal created a fortunate own goal from Brugge's Christos Tzolis in the 77', with the game ending 3-3.
